Gender Disparities in Students’ Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy (ESE) with Various Areas

Previous research showed that entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) plays an essential role in the behavior and success of a person’s career entrepreneurship. On other hand, various reports also women’s participation work is still meager compared to men. The examined differences ESE distribution among male female students majors vocational high schools from region with dominant ethnicity, namely, Bugis-Makassar, Makassar City. This aimed at determining between students’ areas expertise Makassar. study consisted 812 (331 males 481 females), representing seven expertise. They were selected using multistage cluster sampling technique 11 Makassar, Indonesia. applied instrument was adapted Entrepreneur Self-Efficacy Scale. Data analyzed descriptive inferential analyses, i.e., MANOVA independent samples T -test. results indicated gender segregation students. Furthermore, disparity found schools.
